DJ Haram er en rap- og elektronika-produsent og DJ, opprinnelig fra New Jersey, nå basert i Brooklyn, NY. Hun er kjent for sin stilistiske allsidighet – like mye for tunge bass- og klubbsett som for detaljert, analog lydesign, elektronisk-folkloristisk produksjon med røtter i Midtøsten, og rå rap-samarbeid.
Hun utgjør halvparten av 700 Bliss, et hiphop-/støyprosjekt sammen med Moor Mother – duoen ga ut det kritikerroste albumet Nothing to Declare på Hyperdub Records i 2022.
DJ Haram driver for tiden klubbkvelden Monday Night Raw månedlig på Brooklyns legendariske The Lot Radio, hvor hun kuraterer åpne DJ b2b-sett, live rap og eksperimentelle opptredener. Internasjonalt har hun spilt på store scener som Dekmantel, Unsound, Roskilde, Le Guess Who?, Boiler Room, Berghain, Sonar, Tashweesh og Bonnaroo, og har turnert fra Tokyo til Kairo.

DJ Haram is a rap/electronic producer and DJ originally from New Jersey currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Stylistically versatile, Haram is known equally for her bass and club music heavy DJ sets, detail oriented analogue sound design, electronic-folk Middle Eastern production, and abrasive rap collaborations. She makes up half of ‘700 Bliss,’ a hip hop/noise project with Moor Mother; the two released the critically acclaimed ‘Nothing to Declare’ on Hyperdub Records in 2022.
DJ Haram currently runs ‘Monday Night Raw’ monthly at Brooklyn staple the Lot Radio, curating open format DJ b2bs and live rap and experimental performances.
