By volunteering to work at the event, you will get an insight into how the music industry works from the inside, meet interesting new people, discover new Nordic music and last but not least acquire valuable experience.

To qualify as a volunteer, you must be at least 18 years of age before the date of the event, and you need to work a certain number of hours (approximately 2 x 7,5). In return you receive free admission to all concerts and seminars during by:Larm. There are only a certain number of spots in each area, so the earlier you apply, the more likely it is that you will be able to work in the area that you prefer. If you want to join our photo team - remember to add a link to your portfolio.

There are many different areas where we need help from volunteers – here’s a short overview:

Wristband Exchange

This is the general public’s first encounter with the festival, swapping their ticket for a wristband. Your job is to scan people’s tickets, check their ID and give them the correct wristband.

Delegate Check-In

The delegate check-in opens the day before and is open during the conference. You register both volunteers and delegates into the database as they arrive, and hand out their passes and info packs.

Seminar Assistant

As a seminar assistant, you will help ensure each seminar runs smoothly. This means being present for the duration of the seminars, helping with any organizational bits and pieces, adjusting microphones, handing out name tags, water for speakers etc. You also need to check delegates have their passes at the entrance.

Photo

We need to document the event with shots of bands on stage, the audience, and the conference events. If you’re handy with a camera, this is the position for you. Please send links to your portfolio with your application.

Misc/runner

Don’t know what you want to do, but are just eager to work? Pick this option! We love people who are just eager to work, and will line you up with small jobs where you’re most needed.
