by:Larm creates magical moments for artists and music lovers. Our most important job is to uplift Norwegian and Nordic artists out into the world, by giving them their (often) first stage to stand on where they are discovered by the international music industry and an above-average engaged audience.

We are looking for a creative, strategic and inspiring leader with a passion for the music industry and by:Larm. You have a clear voice, high execution abilities and big ambitions on behalf of by:Larm. You have the ability to set the agenda and a desire to bring by:Larm to the next level when we now enter our 25th festival in 2022.

by:Larm stribes to be a young, inclusive, environmentally friendly and diverse festival, both on stage, at the conference and in the organization. An important part of the job will be to work together with the board and the administration to establish new strategic goals and define and implement concrete action plans. You will work to develop and follow up the administration, and further develop by:Larm's position and reputation.

The administration consists of ten skilled and motivated employees, where only the general manager is employed in a 100% position. The administration has different job fractions, where festival planning fully starts in March and takes place intensively until the end of September.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and follow-up of a new strategy for by:Larm
• Daily operations with invoicing, accounting and document keeping
• Explore and follow up possible collaborations across departments, such as by:Larm Ung, Music Tech Norway, Neste Generasjon, Årets Startup Partner etc.
• Recruitment of new employees
• Personnel responsibility
• Overall financial responsibility
• Represent by:Larm externally in collaboration with the Head of Press

• Relevant experience from the music industry, preferably from larger events or festivals
• Clear, structured and inspiring
• Thrives with a varied workday
• Good communicator
• Good financial and organizational understanding
• Good ability to collaborate and make new contacts
