Music Technology Norway (MTN) is the industry association for Norway’s music and audio technology sector, connecting companies, innovators, and industry organisations to strengthen the ecosystem through collaboration, networking, and international opportunities.

The Delegate Lounge, hosted by our friends at The Orchard, is at Bortenfor, right next to Ingensteds and just across from BLÅ. Rumour has it there might be a happy hour or two along the way, so stay tuned!
Music Norway presents: Meet the Nordics

Celebrating the Nordic Top 20 Under 30 and the Nordic artists selected for Current, we’d love for you to join us for a casual drink and a bit of mingling before the evening starts. Come by for a drink, say hello and meet Nordic delegates, artists and industry professionals attending the festival.
No agenda, no formalities – just good people, good conversations and a chance to connect.

Together with Music Norway and by:Larm, we’re inviting international delegates and local delegates from all corners of the music industry under one roof. Join us at Duken Bar&Pizza for some seriously good pizza and drinks. Duken pairs thin, crispy pizzas – from the classics to more unexpected combinations.
Grab a slice, catch up with fellow delegates. The perfect way to connect, mingle and set the tone for the days ahead.

Cowboy Breakfast with Cowboyfrokost
Where: Dæsj/KLINK
When: Fri 11th 10:00
Start the day the cowboy way! Oslo-based six-piece Cowboyfrokost are inviting delegates to KLINK for a proper cowboy breakfast before another day of by:Larm.
Expect breakfast, good company and a taste of the band’s own Scandinavian take on the Wild West – where country and Americana meet pop, warm harmonies and a healthy dose of hoedown spirit.
Sauna Session (requires RSVP)
Where: Oslo Badstuforening, Langkaia: Bademaschinen 1 & 2

Join us for a sauna session to kick off the Saturday! The non-profit Oslo Sauna
Association run several saunas around town, and this one is a real treat. Langkaia Sauna is a floating sauna located by the Oslo fjord, right across from the Opera House. It offers a unique combination of traditional sauna heat and refreshing dips in the sea, with stunning views of the Oslo Fjord. Make sure to bring a bathing suit, towels and a bottle of water.

Rooftop Saturday Lunch: MUNCH Museum (requires RSVP)
Where: MUNCH Museum, Edvard Munchs Plass 1

The MUNCH restaurant is located on the 12th floor of the MUNCH museum in Bjørvika, with panoramic views across the Oslo Fjord, the Opera House and the city. One of the world’s largest museums devoted to a single artist, MUNCH houses the world’s largest collection of works by Edvard Munch.
Join us for Saturday lunch to swap stories, compare festival highlights and make plans for the final day of by.

by:Larm Black Pre-Parties
Where: Kniven (next to Revolver)
When: Thur 10th & Fri 11th, 17:00–19:00
Kniven will be the meeting point for delegates, artists and industry professionals working with or passionate about rock, metal and everything in between. Join us for networking and a chance to connect before the by:Larm Black live program kicks off at Kulturkirken Jakob and Krypten.
This year’s pre-parties are hosted together with our friends at Midgardsblot festival on Thursday and Høstsabbat festival + Copenhell on Friday.

THE CONFERENCE VENUES
All sessions on Thursday and Friday take place around the Vulkan area, at various locations within walking distance from each other.
The national arena for contemporary dance will be one of the main hubs during by:Larm. Here, you can access the two conference rooms, Dansens Hus 1 and 2, through the lobby bar.
Street Art Norge is an art gallery located just 100 meters from Mathallen and will be the second venue hosting the conference programme. The programme will take place across two conference rooms, Lille Street Art and Store Street Art.
Formerly home to KLINK wine bar, the space is now being used as our third conference room. It will mainly host workshops, mingling sessions, breakfasts and smaller meetings.
Delegate Lounge presented by The Orchard
Our delegate lounge, presented by The Orchard, is located at Bortenfor on the outdoor terrace, behind the outdoor stage. The delegate lounge is a great way to meet other delegates and make new connections.
The opening hours are: 16:00 – 03:00

If you haven’t registered yet to get your by:Larm pass, please do so now. If you haven't recieved your ticket, send an email to maria@bylarm.no
After registering for your pass, you will receive a new e-mail with your ticket.
You will also receive an e-mail inviting you to create a profile in our delegate directory. By creating a profile, you’ll be able to browse and contact other delegates who are attending this year’s festival.
PACKING FOR OSLO:
Please take a look at the weather forecast when packing. Note that Oslo in September might be a bit cold. If necessary and possible; bring an option of warm clothes, solid footwear, jacket etc. for walking around in the evenings. Even if it's sunny out it can still be quite cold. ARRIVING IN OSLO:
Transport: Oslo International Airport Gardermoen (OSL) to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S)
The Airport Express Train is the quickest way to get to the city. You can check out the timetable here!
Transport: Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) → Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget (Møllergata 26, 0197 Oslo)
If you’re staying at our partner hotel, Comfort Hotel Xpress, the fastest way to get to the hotel from Oslo Central Station is to walk. It takes about 10 minutes.
You can also take a taxi from the cab stand at Oslo S. A taxi takes about 10 minutes and costs between 150-250 NOK (approx. €15-25), depending on the time of day.
Transport: Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget → the conference area
To get to the conference area from the hotel, the easiest way is to walk. It takes 10 minutes, as the Vulkan area is just 700 m away.
Taxi: Taxi can be found at Youngstorget cab stand. A taxi takes about 15 minutes and costs between 200-300 NOK (approx. €20-30), depending on the time of day.
Bus: The bus departs from the Storgata bus stop (platform 3). Take either the 34 or the 54 bus line to the Møllerveien bus stop. The conference area is a short walk from there.
Remember: Google Maps is your best friend!
HOW TO GET YOUR PASS:
Upon arriving at by:Larm, you need to exchange your ticket for a wristband in order to gain access to by:Larm.
Your ticket can be swapped for a wristband at the delegate check-in at: Street Art Norge 150 meters from Mathallen (address: Vulkan 15) during these hours:
